Help for British nationals

Definition of a British national

1) A British citizen
2) A British Overseas Territories Citizen
3) A British overseas citizen
4) A British national (overseas)
5) A British subject
6) A British protected person

We cannot help non-British nationals, no matter how long they have lived in the UK. We may help Commonwealth nationals in non-Commonwealth countries where they do not have any diplomatic or consular representation, depending on the circumstances of the case.
