Opening hours

We are open to the public Monday to Friday from 09.30 to 14.30 excluding public holidays.

Disabled access

The public entrance is at ground level and there are no stairs. There is a toilet for wheelchair users and those with limited physical mobility. A public service counter is available for consular customers at wheelchair level. All doors are wheelchair accessible.

Access for visually-impaired visitors

  • signs are clear and easy to read. (Not available in Braille)
  • Guide dogs are welcome

Access for deaf/hard of hearing visitors

  • hearing loop system installed
  • minicom and textphones are not installed
  • staff do not have sign language
  • professional Signing interpretation is not available
  • hearing dogs are welcome.

Out of hours emergency assistance

Out of office hours the Consulate telephone number (+351) 282 490 750 provides details on how to proceed in case of an emergency and to contact a duty officer if needed.

Passports

Please note that we do not issue full UK passports. Passport applications should be made directly to the UK Passport Service Iberia in Madrid.
