Recruitment policy

The Embassy is an equal opportunities employer and no discrimination on the grounds of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, marital status, religion, or disability will be allowed in the recruitment process.  The policy on local staff recruitment is to select the best candidate for the job.  The Embassy fills all jobs on a competitive basis, advertising as widely as necessary through the internet or newspapers, to attract suitably qualified staff. We do not accept speculative CVs or maintain a databe of interested parties. 

All job advertisements and application forms comply with FCO Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies, focussing on the competences and skills required for the job and avoiding any language or phrases that may be interpreted as showing bias towards a particular group.
